Adults are invited to attend the Winter Tree String Art Workshop at the Library. Instead of wood boards and nails, we will use cork boards and push pins to make beautiful creations by following a pattern or using your imagination!
Companions for Kids is a stuffed animal drive for the Madison County First Responders! Starting in January 2025, donations of NEW stuffed animals will be accepted at the Library to help children facing scary and/or traumatic situations.

Navica Covid-19 Tests
Call or stop by the Library today to pick up a free Covid-19 test through our Curbside Pickup. Individuals need access to a phone, computer, or laptop with a webcam. Also, an email address and internet connection are needed. After going to the Navica web site (ohio.emed.com) or downloading the Navica app, the individual taking the test will need to set up an account.
Friends of the Library Booksale
The Friends of the Library will be hosting their annual booksale from October 6th - October 9th in the HBML Community Room.
All items are available for a donation amount of your choice.
Hours will be as follows:

Hurt/Battelle Memorial Library Is Joining the SEO Consortia
The Library will be closed on September 14th and 15th so that staff may receive training on the new Serving Every Ohioan software. The SEO (Serving Every Ohioan) Service Center, located in Caldwell, is a branch of the State Library of Ohio, which supports a consortium of 98 Library systems at 258 service points throughout 49 counties across Ohio using the OPLIN network.
