Registration is open for children ages 4 to 12 for our Storybook Build featuring Little Red Riding Hood! Children will use their creativity and engineering skills to construct and decorate their basket before testing its strength!
The Madison County Master Gardener Volunteers are ready to help you prep for the upcoming gardening season! They will focus on plants and flowers that attract butterflies and other essential pollinators to help plants thrive and grow! There will be a demonstration on how to sow seeds in the Winter and Spring after the presentation.
Warm Up West Jeff is coming to an end! If you need any of the winter coats or other winter gear in the lobby, stop by the library during business hours before the end of February!

Navica Covid-19 Tests
Call or stop by the Library today to pick up a free Covid-19 test through our Curbside Pickup. Individuals need access to a phone, computer, or laptop with a webcam. Also, an email address and internet connection are needed. After going to the Navica web site (ohio.emed.com) or downloading the Navica app, the individual taking the test will need to set up an account.
Friends of the Library Booksale
The Friends of the Library will be hosting their annual booksale from October 6th - October 9th in the HBML Community Room.
All items are available for a donation amount of your choice.
Hours will be as follows:

Hurt/Battelle Memorial Library Is Joining the SEO Consortia
The Library will be closed on September 14th and 15th so that staff may receive training on the new Serving Every Ohioan software. The SEO (Serving Every Ohioan) Service Center, located in Caldwell, is a branch of the State Library of Ohio, which supports a consortium of 98 Library systems at 258 service points throughout 49 counties across Ohio using the OPLIN network.
