The Hurt/Battelle Memorial Library is now accepting applications for a new Board of Trustees member! The term will begin in January 2024. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month. This position is volunteer-based and only requires a couple hours each month! 

The general responsibilities of a Board Member are as follows:

• Establishes policies and long-term goals for the library
• Oversees the general operation of the library
• Initiates and oversees the budget process
• Promotes and advocates for the library in the community.

Board of Trustee Members must reside in Madison County. The application can be found below or physical copies can be picked up at the Information Desk.
